Relaxation
Also known as a Swedish massage, this type of body massage stimulates circulation, releases tight muscles, relieves pain, eliminates toxins from the body, and restores range of motion. While performing a Swedish massage, using massage oil, your therapist will lubricate your skin and perform a couple of massage strokes. A Swedish massage is essential every once in a while as it helps you reduce tension and anxiety in the body as it promotes a sense of relaxation by calming your nervous system.

Deep Tissue
This type of massage is suitable for certain painful or stiff spots in your body as it helps ease chronic aches that are mostly found in the upper back, neck, shoulders, and lower back. During the Deep Tissue massage, the therapist uses finger pressure focusing on tendons and other tissue areas with tight and knotted muscles. Deep Tissue massage is mainly recommended for people seeking to improve postural problems and relieving the pain of strain injuries.

Head And Facial
This type of massage entails relaxation of the head, neck, face, and scalp as these are considered essential energy centers of the body. The head and facial massage are very relaxing since it helps in releasing stress and tension, thus offering a sense of well-being.

Seniors
Often referred to as geriatric massage, this type of massage technique involves gentle, light, and passive stretching without excessive friction on the skin to ease muscle tension. This therapeutic massage is almost similar to the Swedish massage save for the fact that it uses warm volcanic rocks in the place of hands. You are advised to seek a medical opinion before getting a hot stone massage, especially if you are on blood-thinning medication or suffer from heart disease.

Before every Massage Therapy Treatment , the client will meet the practitioner for a confidential one to one consultation to discuss their medical history, specific aims and goals. All Astute Aesthetics practitioners are all medically qualified, fully trained in aesthetics and highly experienced in the administration of the Massage Therapy Treatment .

All our clients will be given an unbiased, open, honest, and realistic treatment plan which will give them time to ask any questions or raise any concerns before committing to the Massage Therapy Treatment .

Once all the information has been gathered and consent forms have been signed, the Massage Therapy Treatment will begin. In some cases, a patch test may be needed before any treatment can commence.

The service provided by Astute Aesthetics doesn’t stop after the treatment, full information on aftercare will be provided and our practitioner will always be available to answer any questions or concerns during the healing process and follow up appointments will always be made available.
